Aging In Place

Aging in place is defined by the Center for Disease Control as “the ability to live in one’s own home and community safely, independently, and comfortably, regardless of age, income, or ability level.”   More specifically, a person should not have to move just because they don’t get around as well as they used to.   More and more today, there are agencies, associations, groups and organizations dedicated to helping seniors through the process of adapting their homes to be sure they can live safely and stay in their familiar and comfortable surroundings. Taylor Inspection Services, Inc. is also available to assist you in this process. We can come in to your home to conduct an “aging in place survey” to look for maneuverability, safety and accessibility issues in all rooms and areas of the home.  Please go to our Contact Us page and let us know how we can help!
